GlobalX chooses Skywise Health Monitoring for its growing All-Airbus Fleet
Global Crossing Airlines, Inc. (“GlobalX”), a passenger and cargo charter airline serving the U.S., Caribbean, European and Latin American markets, has adopted Airbus’ Skywise Health Monitoring (S.HM) digital solution to support its growing operational needs. The agreement covers GlobalX’s current and future fleet of Airbus A319, A320 and A321 aircraft, which is expected to grow to 30 airplanes by 2024.
“We are happy to welcome GlobalX as the latest customer joining the club of Skywise Health Monitoring users,” said Dominik Wacht, Vice President of Customer Services, Airbus Americas. "GlobalX is a fast-growing, newer airline that is investing right from the start in a strategy that integrates new technologies to ensure efficient operations. And thanks to the maturity of the S.HM product, the airline can begin implementing the solution in its fleet within a matter of weeks after selecting it.”
With S.HM, GlobalX’s operations are digitally boosted from day one, supporting the airline’s maintenance and engineering teams by enabling real-time management of aircraft unscheduled events and troubleshooting. This helps the airline in identifying, prioritizing, analyzing and handling in-service events, enabling quicker decision-making and minimizing AOG risks while increasing efficiency in terms of maintenance lead time and costs. The solution also supports a paperless strategy through digital access to all the necessary data and records, such as Management Information System (MIS) and flight reports, and the progress of the maintenance tasks.
GlobalX now joins a growing community of more than 120 airlines around the world who have chosen S.HM.
