Satair, a world leader in the commercial aerospace aftermarket, have signed its first commercial distribution agreement with Airdal, a company offering smart health protection systems that provide an innovative protection against microbial attacks. The agreement covers the exclusive global distribution of AIRDAL® CLEANER & PRIMER wet wipe and spray, and the AIRDAL® COATING wet wipe and spray with antimicrobial and antifungal effect on surfaces.

The AIRDAL® Coating is a 100% transparent, permanent self-disinfecting and antimicrobial coating based on modified silicon dioxide. With the inclusion of this new product line, Satair expands its market offering of cabin decontamination options with a long-lasting decontamination solution that has a minimum of 12 months effectiveness, is easy to apply, and can help airlines restore their customers’ trust in safe air travel.

Paul Lochab, CCO, Satair says “With increased concerns among passengers about in-cabin bacterial spread, airlines face increased consumer demands for decontamination. At Satair, we continue to put safety first, and we are proud to work with Airdal to help airlines provide peace of mind to their passengers through effective disinfection solutions.”

Andreas Sevecke, Bernd Haase, and Ugur Ipek, Board of Directors, Airdal adds: “Our innovative and unique approach has been approved by Airbus and our solutions will be listed in the Consumerable Material List (CML). We are very excited to cooperate with Satair as our trusted distribution partner for the aviation customers worldwide. Together we aim to keep passengers’ and crews’ trust in air travel.”
