The Airbus Europe Training Centre (AETC) was created in 1972 by Jean Pinet, who was the first test pilot to fligh a Concorde supersonic in October 1969.
AETC is the first of a big network of Airbus training centres around the world.
We serve the European market and beyond. Our centre houses a total of x7 simulators (FFS) including x2 A320, x1 A330, x2 A350, x1 A380 and x1 A300-600/A310.

Worldwide coordination of Flight activities: support to Ferry Flights, CAMO, IOE & TFF worldwide.
Certified as an Approved Training Organisation by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and UKCAA.
AETC offers a comprehensive range of flight crew training services including pilot type-rating, cross crew qualification and recurrent training courses* for Airbus jetliner variants.
Type-training courses for aircraft maintenance and Entry-into-Service support.
On top of that, specialised maintenance trainings for Line and Base Maintenance staff (e.g. engine run-up, troubleshooting) as well as for Non-Certifying staff, Management and Engineering. Customised courses answering the needs of individual fleets or employee populations are also part of the offer.

Immigration
In order to enter and remain in Europe, visitors must check whether they require a visa based on their nationality.
They should also ensure that their passport is valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry.
As part of our welcome service, Airbus provides customers with an invitation letter to facilitate their entry into Europe (France/Germany).
Our letter covers the full duration of their course and stay.
