Boliviana de Aviación selects Airbus’ Flight Hour Services (FHS) for its A330s

Boliviana de Aviación (BoA) has signed an agreement for Airbus’ FHS maintenance-by-the-hour to support its leased A330-200 fleet. Airbus’ FHS helps BoA secure fleet entry-into-service through an easy maintenance set-up with access to an established industrial infrastructure maximising aircraft availability.
The multi-year, maintenance-by-the-hour contract covers integrated component services, including an on-site stock pool at Viru International Airport and repair services.
BoA joins a growing list of Latin American airlines in securing the best availability of key components, whilst avoiding all the obsolescence burdens that come with the heavy investment of managing and owning a stock of spare parts. In fact, Airbus Flight Hour Services is the leading A330 power-by-the-hour provider both in Latin America and worldwide.
Boliviana has also chosen S. Health Monitoring (SHM), an Airbus aircraft monitoring tool that will enable airline engineers to do real-time scanning of aircraft warnings and anticipate disruptions related to unscheduled maintenance.
Additionally, the airline has selected a package of solutions from NAVBLUE, Airbus’ Flight Operations subsidiary, to manage and optimise its operations.
BoA will operate its A330-200s on international routes to the United States and Europe.
