ITA Airways, Italy’s new national carrier, has decided to adopt Skywise Health Monitoring (SHM) as its future fleet performance tool. The agreement covers over more than 60 aircraft.
“We are very happy to welcome ITA Airways as the latest customer joining the club of Skywise Health Monitoring users,” says Charbel Youzkatli Head of Europe Commercial Services "By using this tool coupled with Skywise aviation data platform, ITA Airways operations are digitally boosted from day one, benefiting from state of the art efficiencies on maintenance planning and troubleshooting across the A320, A330 and A350 fleet.”
Using the power of the Skywise aviation data platform, Skywise Health Monitoring collates and centralises the alerts in real time, flight-deck effects, maintenance messages etc., prioritises them, correlates any faults with the relevant troubleshooting procedures, highlights operational impacts, provides the maintenance history of the system (from the logbook and MIS** information collected through Skywise Core and stored in the data lake), allowing effective management of the alerts. Overall, Skywise Health Monitoring saves airlines time and decreases the cost of unscheduled maintenance thanks to data-driven decisions.
