Atlanta, United States, 12 April 2023 – Taiwan’s STARLUX Airlines has selected Airbus’s Flight Hour Services (FHS) to support its growing A330neo fleet. Having introduced 4 A330-900s in 2022 with another 4 to be added, Airbus’ FHS helps STARLUX secure fleet entry-into-service through an easy maintenance set-up with access to an established industrial infrastructure maximising aircraft availability.
The multi-year contract will see STARLUX benefiting from services including on-site-stock at their main base at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport, access to Airbus’ mutualised spares pools as well as components engineering and repair services around the world.
Airbus will guarantee spare parts availability, generating value through increased fleet availability and operating maintenance costs savings.
STARLUX is the first airline to operate a fleet featuring the A321neo, A330neo and A350 thus demonstrating the advantages of Airbus' unique fleet commonality that drives operational costs down while providing flexibility to match capacity with demand.
