Airbus’ FHS Component (FHS-C) service will support the fleet integration of the two newly ordered A330neos for Air Belgium. The service will cover spare pool access, on-site-stock at its main bases (Brussels and Charleroi), as well as component engineering and repair services.
The airline will benefit from maximised aircraft availability and operating maintenance cost savings thanks to guaranteed service levels and component engineering expertise. Air Belgium, the full-service international destination carrier headquartered in Mont-Saint-Guibert in Belgium, took delivery of its first of two A330-900 in October 2021.
The latest FHS contract agreements demonstrate the continued interest in Airbus’ integrated maintenance service and reinforces Airbus’ presence in the material services market in Europe. Airbus FHS now covers customers across all Airbus aircraft product families in Europe: A220, A320, A330, A350 and A380.
