Airbus Training Centre Europe celebrates the certification of a new A350 Full Flight Simulator
Toulouse, October 11, 2021 – Airbus Training Center Europe (AETC) celebrates the commissioning of a brand new A350 Full Flight Simulator, successfully EASA and UK CAA certified. Iberia, French Bee and Air Caraibes are some of the first customers to take advantage of this new full flight simulator.
The 20,000-square-meter facility offers aircraft operators type rating, initial and recurrent training for pilots and maintenance personnel across all aircraft programs. The AETC has one A300/A310 simulator, two A320 simulators, one A330/A340 simulator, one A380 simulator and one A350XWB simulator. The European training facility offers the capacity to deliver up to 500 virtual flight hours per month per simulator, representing around 36,000 flight hours per year.
Located in the south of France, the Airbus Training Center Europe (AETC) is positioned beside Airbus’ headquarters, in a key European hub for the aerospace industry and ideally located close to Toulouse-Blagnac Airport and the city centre.
Air traffic in Europe is progressively ramping up, calling for more than 25,000 pilots to be trained over the next few years.
Airbus operators can directly book A350 training courses, such as A350/A330 Difference course (CTR), at the Airbus Training Center Europe (AETC) via the Airbus Services Store.
