Dubai Airshow, 15th November 2023 - Air Cairo has chosen to extend its existing Airbus FHS contract to cover all the aircraft in its fleet – which has recently grown since taking delivery of additional Airbus aircraft.Under the contract extension, which comes after over a year of successful FHS operations, Airbus is expanding its materials services coverage for Air Cairo across its all-Airbus fleet of 24 aircraft. These services include on-site stock at its main base and outstations, as well as components repairs, logistics and component engineering.Airbus’ material solution allows Air Cairo to minimise capital expenditure thanks to reduced upfront investments and secured maintenance costs. Airbus’ FHS also maximises Air Cairo’s aircraft availability through spare parts availability and components reliability expertise.Today more than 1,200 aircraft worldwide are currently being supported by Airbus’ Flight Hour Services which are proving more relevant than ever in post-crisis times when airlines need to carefully monitor their costs and contain investments.
