Covering the market from 100 to 150 seats and capable of flying on routes up to 3,450nm, the A220 offers unmatched versatility with true long-haul comfort. Its clean-sheet design delivers new levels of efficiency: costs, fuel burn and CO2 emissions are all 25% lower than previous generation aircraft. With a noise footprint reduction of 50% relative to these aircraft, the A220 has a lower impact on airport communities and is ideally tailored for urban operations such as at Congonhas Airport in Sao Paulo and Aeroparque in Buenos Aires.

This versatility and efficiency make the A220 the ideal choice for Latin American airlines, not only for growing domestic markets, but also to develop numerous unserved international routes within the continent.
We currently see about 160 intraregional markets ideally suited for the A220. Including domestic services and international routes to the U.S., there is a potential for over 450 new direct routes ideally suited to a 100 to 150 seat 3,000nm plus range aircraft in Latin America.
